Cottages
Diphlu River Lodge has 12 cottages, accommodating up to 24 guests at a time, ensuring an exclusive and serene experience.
Cottages are raised on cement stilts, topped with natural materials like bamboo and wood, and thatched roofs to blend in with the forest surroundings.
Out of the 12 cottages, four of them are river-facing and the rest are paddy-facing.
All cottages are nearly the same size and have more or less the same interiors, except for minor stylistic differences.
All cottages sleep 2 and are air-conditioned for comfort.
Each cottage houses:
-
well-sized cosy beds
-
a spacious seating area
-
a writing desk
-
a mini-bar
-
a small fridge
-
an electric kettle
-
a complimentary selection of tea and coffee.
All shower bathrooms are en-suite with a roomy dressing area and a fitted wardrobe containing a safe.
Special care has been taken to make full use of local materials and artefacts.
Each individual cottage has a wide folding glass door opening onto a verandah with inviting cane chairs.
We have wi-fi available in the cottages, but do be aware that it may be a bit spotty from time to time. We are, after all, in a jungle!
