Diphlu River Lodge, Kaziranga National Park was immensely proud to have been adjudged as the first runners-up in the 'Best Wildlife Resort in India' category by Lonely Planet magazine.
The winner of this category was Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambore National Park and the second runners-up was Mahuakothi by Taj Group of Hotels, Bandhavgarh National Park.

This acknowledgement by Lonely Planet India was in 2013.
